Want to lend a hand with my prison work?

My work in the Florida prison system is a profound expression of my commitment to practical spirituality and service. Currently, I lead two weekly classes at Lancaster Correctional Institute in Trenton, Florida. Beyond teaching, I mentor individuals and have facilitated Passover seders, honoring diverse traditions within the prison walls. My efforts include developing comprehensive curriculums on conflict resolution and effective communication, and I have donated numerous books and dedicated over 1,000 hours to this cause.

Jon Reed, one of the prison administrators, kindly noted, "Tim is an excellent role model and mentor at Lancaster CI. His presence is invaluable as it contributes to a safer environment for staff, officers, inmates, and the surrounding community. Through his mentorship, inmates are better equipped to make positive life choices." In 2024 I was honored as FDC’s Volunteer of the Year at Lancaster Correctional Institute.

This work is fueled by passion and inspired by Michael A. Singer, who spent over three decades teaching in prisons. His dedication moved me to embrace this path, sharing his works, 'The Surrender Experiment' and 'The Untethered Soul,' with inmates, opening doors to inner freedom and peace.

Your donations are crucial; they support the logistics of this volunteer effort—covering travel, time, and resources devoted to this cause. Any support you can provide is not only an investment in the lives of those within the prison system but also an opportunity for you to join this transformative mission. If you're inspired to explore volunteer teaching, I'm here to guide and train you. Together, we can continue to make a significant impact. Thank you for considering supporting this mission of compassion and change.
